Burn a DVD with This Free Software

Burn a DVD with This Free Software

Do you still have a DVD player in your house? If yes, then this article is for you.

I recently had the problem that someone wanted to have some of my videos, but he did not want to use his computer for watching them. He wanted to watch them on a DVD player.

So what I needed was a piece of software that can convert and prepare different video formats into DVD specifications and then burn the DVD.

There are several programs you could use to do this, but one of the easiest is free, it works on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and it is extremely easy to use.

The free program is called DVD Styler. It can be found at https://www.dvdstyler.org.

DVD Styler is good because you can even add menus to the DVD so that it is easier to select which one of the videos on the DVD you want to watch.

I became aware of DVD Styler because I found a short video that shows how to quickly convert any video into a DVD that can be played on a DVD player or computer.

Call to Action

Purchase a packet of DVDs, the DVD-R type is good enough. DVD+R may work as well with your DVD drive but DVD-R is the most common format of writable DVDs. And you don´t need a DVD-RW.

Use this opportunity for trying out an online purchase on Amazon or at your local online shop. In Singapore, one of the bigger online shops is Lazada.sg.

If you don´t have a DVD burner, then buy an external one with a USB 3.0 connector, such as this one.

Don´t buy all this stuff in a brick-and-mortar shop. If you learn how to buy online today, then you catch two birds with one stone: you learn how to burn a DVD, and you learn how to purchase office supplies online. That will save you a lot of time in the future.

And use one dedicated credit card for all Internet purchases, and don´t use it for anything else, as described here https://ip-lawyer-tools.com/what-you-should-know-about-credit-cards/. More articles about credit cards are here.
