Must see. An Annular Eclipse in Singapore.
If you have never seen an eclipse before, please watch this short movie (switch the speed to “2x” and it is only 2 minutes long).

These are the two most spectacular photos that I have made (iPhone 7plus and Samsung S7 edge):
Today´s eclipse was quite spectacular and it was only for the first time in two decades that a rare “ring of fire” known as an annular solar eclipse was visible in the sky in Singapore.
The phenomenon occurs when the Moon covers the Sun’s centre but is too far away from Earth to entirely blot out the Sun. I find an annular solar eclipse more spectacular than a total eclipse.
The next annular solar eclipse will only take place in 2063.
