This is One of the Cornerstones of My Anti-Spam Email Defense Wall: WhatsApp Internet Messenger, Paired with my Desktop Computer
Have you ever noticed how many nonsense emails you are catching in your inbox because of an unwise use of your email system?
I did so, last week.
Problem
We are three active people in our Singapore FICPI group.
Last week, we tried to arrange a meeting for discussing an event in Singapore that is supposed to be held here from 22 – 24 November 2019.
I ended up with thirteen (13) additional useless emails in my email inbox that resulted from that conversation!
Solution
Do the same in a WhatsApp group and you have zero (0) emails in your email inbox. And only one (1) message in a WhatsApp group.
Which is what we did. We decided to start a WhatsApp group, and to chat there.
We have now a meeting, and my professional email inbox is in the future spared from this kind of nonsense emails.
This is How it works
I pair my smartphone WhatsApp with my desktop computer, the first thing in the morning.
Follow this video:

After that, I have all those issues that need immediate attention on my desktop computer, in parallel to my smartphone.
I can choose from where I take care of these issues, either from my desk or from my smartphone. That gives me much freedom.
I shall show you in my future “Tip of the Week” posts how to efficiently use WhatsApp and other Internet messenger apps from your desktop computer.
Call to Action
Install WhatsApp on your smartphone. It will work both on iPhone and on Android.
Then pair your smartphone WhatsApp with the Internet browser on your computer, as shown in the screencast above.
Then try to chat with one of your phone contacts over WhatsApp, using your desktop computer.
